    We have personally purchased and tested the Harley-Davidson Holdfast Detachable Tour-Pak Luggage Mounting Rack for our 2021 Softail Standard, and the results were outstanding. This mounting system proved to be highly reliable and efficient. In fact, we were so impressed with its performance that we have even made modifications to the Pillion Pooch to ensure seamless integration with the Tour-Pak rack. In our manual and Unboxing and Installation Video Tutorial, we provide detailed instructions on how to open the pilot holes in the Pillion Pooch base to 8mm for easy attachment to the Tour-Pak rack

    With the HoldFast docking hardware, you can effortlessly switch from a comfortable passenger backrest to a load-hauling Tour-Pak, allowing you to enjoy the convenience of carrying your Pillion Pooch with ease. The rack is designed with simple fingertip operated latches that release it from the docking hardware for quick and easy removal. It's easy to know what gear to buy for a person and to get lots of advice on the different brands, materials etc. but it's a lot harder for pets. For a few years we were using regular walking harnesses for Weeti and Shadow when we were riding, purely out of naivety.
